AC☁DC becomes a connection point with Neterra, NetIX and their global networks

Just weeks after the opening of our renovated Data Center AC☁DC in Varna, we are sharing another partnership of our company that will provide new opportunities and advantages for our clients. 

AC☁DC is now a connection point with Neterra – a global connectivity and telecommunications solutions provider with nearly 30 years of experience in the field and working with telecoms from all over the world. 

Who are Neterra and NetIX?

Neterra is a global telecommunications services provider and IT asset manager with over 220 points of presence worldwide. The company is the winner of the “Best Connectivity Provider in Central and Eastern Europe” award from the Capacity Global Connectivity Awards for 2023 and 2024 and is the official distributor of Starlink by SpaceX. Nine of the ten largest telecom operators and nearly 1,000 global companies use its services.

Neterra manages four data centers under the Sofia Data Center brand – two in Sofia and two in Stolnik and Ruse.

NetIX, part of Neterra, is a global internet traffic exchange platform with a presence in over 220 data centers in more than 100 cities and 65 countries. It connects over 200 members with 10,000 networks and 50+ internet exchanges, with a daily peak traffic of over 4 Tbps.

AC☁DC with secure connection to SDC1 and Stolnik

We are pleased to share that AC☁DC is now a connection point with Neterra and has a secure connection to the SDC1 and Stolnik data centers. For the clients who have placed their equipment in Sofia this means they can rely on Disaster Recovery in AC☁DC. Similarly, our clients from Varna can rely on Disaster Recovery, provided by our partner’s resources in Sofia. 

AC☁DC now also provides access to NetIX and all existing connections within it, which in practice means direct data exchange, higher speed, improved security, and other advantages for connectivity between different internet networks worldwide.
